breathing funny...sounds like there clogged up really raspy???

Honestly, that isnt enough information to diagnose anything, sorry. How old, are they recently purchased, etc? Too many diseases with similar symptoms. And we cant diagnose it on the net, only take an educated guess.

well we have had this hen for about 3 years. she just got it about a month ago. she is an araucana cross. shes about 5. thats all i really know that and what is says in the title.

The fastest and safest help you can give her is to isolate her from the rest of the flock and mix a solution of Oxine and water-about 1/8 teaspoon per gallon. Fill a vaporizer with this solution and place it very closeby her quarters. This should alleviate the respiratory distress. It will also kill viruses in the air. Oxine is hundreds of times more effective than chlorox and it is very safe to use. I still believe it is the beginnings of a strain of ILT. The only way you will find this out is to sacrifice a bird and send it for necropsy. It may be my misunderstanding but I thought you had said you have several birds with the symptoms.

Whether it be ILT or CRD (which is a result of elongated periods of time withstanding the symptoms of ILT) or some other respiratory disorder or disease It IS, in fact, respiratory. You will need to take several precautionary steps.
