Bred my mare yesterday....

and Im not ashamed to admit I am excited!! She was bred to Leroidesanimaux, who's son Animal Kingdom won the Kentucky Derby this past weekend. I booked her several months ago, so I had a riding interest in this year's Derby. Isnt this boy outrageously gorgeous? Now fingers, claws, paws, and hooves crossed that she gets in foal.

My mare is a Connemara, and I am sitting here day 358 of pregnancy, waiting for her to decide to foal LOL

I breed to race, so yes, Ill race the foal. Dont want to jump the gun, Ill first worry about getting her in foal.
