Poor coloring of a frizzle golden laced cochin, probably cockerel. just my opinion, no expert.

How's the tail stand? up like oeg or rounded like cochin?

its a boy, and most likely a MFD that is not good quaility. Did the assortment say the eggs were pure or crossed?

His tail stands. And yes, they are supposed to be purebred, not crossed, but who knows

We'll see how he shapes up.

Also if you d'uccle experts out there could tell me what determines the quality of a bird I would be ecstatic. I've been reading a lot but reading is no replacement for experience!!
