Breed and Gender of this 8 week old Gosling?

This is Frances/Francis; I got this gosling from my local feed store. It is eight weeks old. Is it possible to determine the breed or gender yet? I was told it was an African Goose. Thank you!

Looks right for an African goose. I can't help with gender. I would post directly in the geese forum if you don't get answers here. Geese are very difficult to sex unless it's done early through vent sexing.
