Breed and gender thoughts?

This was actually a replacement bird that I think they replaced incorrectly as far as breed and gender. I'm thinking this is a cockerel but would like some opinions and thoughts on breed. This picture is at 7 weeks old. Excuse the photo bomb of the white rock. Lol

That is most definitely a cockerel. What breed was it supposed to be?

Honestly I'm not sure. I had ordered several breeds that were black and I think it was supposed to be a jersey giant but that doesn't look like a jersey giant to me.

Hmmm. I have a couple of Jersey Giant pullet chicks but they have some bits of white markings on the face. They are still only 4 weeks old though and I assume those go away so maybe yours has lost them.

It's possible. The other breed choices could be Australop, BB Cubalaya, White faced black Spanish and the jersey giant.

No eggs from that one. Not sure on breed
