Breed anyone???

Got this lovely girl just last week with a bunch of others. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what breed or breed X she is.

The one I am curious about is the black body and speckled head and neck. Her legs are darker then the typical beige but not black or slate. The others are a Columbian Rock and 2 EE's.

I'm not sure the breed but I know the variety which is Gray or Birchen (there basically the same thing).

What color eggs does she lay? She could possibly be a Birchen Marans without feathered shanks. Are the bottoms of her feet pink or white?

Will have a look at her feet and let you know. The eggs havent started yet, cant answer that one.

Has a definite pink tinge to the bottom of her feet. She may not be pure but, was really curious about her. She hatched early May.

She's going to lay white eggs because, as you can see, she has white earlobes.

that is her ear feathers, not her earlobe. If you click the picture to make it bigger, her earlobe is red

My guess is Birchen Maran and dark brown egg. Her earlobe is indeed red.

I will let everyone know the egg colour when I get one!! Would love to have a dark brown to add to my basket. Rainbow basket here I come, maybe!! And to confirm yes her earlobes are red.....with white feathers!!

Yes if the bottoms of her feet are white, then I agree she's a Birchen Marans.
