Breed/Gender

I just recently got two new chickens that are around 1-1.5 months old, and I just need to be sure about their genders. The people were not sure what breed the black and white one was, so if any of you know that would be greatly appreciated!

They're both pullets. The second one looks like a Silver Laced Cochin.

Looks to be a Buff Orpington and Silver Laced Cochin, both pullets. They're much older than 4-6 weeks though.

I agree, they both look to be girls, especially if they are as old as they look. To me, they seem just a bit younger than my girls, which are at the four month mark, so I'm guessing these ladies might be at or around 3 months.

While they have combs and the cochin has a wattle, they aren't very large or very red, which indicates female to me, plus the rest of their feathers look hen-like as well.

I'd definitely agree and say that second one is a cochin, just look at those fluffy feet!

Ok thank you! The people weren't exactly sure about their age so they just said around 1-1.5 months. I was kinda figuring they were older than that lol
