A friend was moving and gave me this girl for free today. It was given to her as compensation for a hen killed by a neighbors dog, so she had no clue what kind it is. She looks very different from the local "wild" chickens that run around, and she is very friendly, but she is also on the small side.
Any ideas on breed, if any? There is also a big cock-fighting culture here in Hawaii, and so am wondering if it could be a hen of one of those types, but I'm not sure as I've only ever really seen the roosters.
