Hello everyone,
Can someone identify the breed on this hen? She has been broody, sitting on 8 eggs since the 20th and I always saw this hen being so feisty, the last thing that crossed my mind was for it to become a chicken mommy.
I'm crossing my fingers, this is my first time ever with a broody hen, any extra advice is appreciated

Thank you, the lady I got it from bought her as a chick from hackle hatchery, one of those surprise boxes. She is definitely vocal and feisty

I'm guessing Cinnamon Queen with that wonky comb and black markings since she's from Hoover's.

I'd say some kinda Brahma production red mix. How that happened at a hatchery I don't know.

Yes, the foot feathers and pea comb are a puzzle to me as well. However, I'm obviously new to this and have no idea. Also, how likely is for production hens to go broody??
