The chicken below are about 5 months old and were part of an ornamental layer collection order.

I have to say that the chicken that is brown and golden in the first picture looks just like the Golden Laced Wyandotte chickens I have. I am really new to this so please don't take my word as gospel! LOL:p

Does anyone think that #2 could be a White Faced Black Spanish? I actually have 5 Black Austrolorp and they are heavier and have more sheen to their feathers, sort of like a water beetle. This one looks very different next to them.

2. is a Black Minorca. The white earlobe and slender body make it a Mediterranean breed. The white skin narrows it down. A White-faced black Spanish would have a clean face with white, yours has feathering inbetween the eye and beak.

That was actually what I was thinking, but really wasn't sure....I have 3 that look like her and then a Roo. (they were all supposed to be layers, oh well, he's hadsome but quite a bit smaller than the other roos I have.

I thought it was a phoenix too but aren't they supposed to have slate blue legs ?
