Hello! Got three new quacks for the quack pack and was wondering the breeds- I believe I have a Pekin, Cayuga, and a mallard/rouen? The yellow has almost changed to white over night so I am almost certain she's Pekin. Black fella has since started to have iridescent blue and green colors, and the brown is starting to form a green head so assuming he'll be the only drake.

Double eyestripes on the the black and yellow one means that it's a rouen and not a mallard. I've had pekins and the white one could be a color variation of another breed but it's most likely just a pekin. Never had cayunga but the color seems correct, hopefully someone with more experience with cayunga could comment.
Good luck with your duckies and welcome to BYC!!

Congratulations on your babies, they are adorable.

I have had cayugas, and in my experience yours is too young to tell the gender. My girl had quite a lot of green on her head. The difference between her and the boys was a distinct line on the boys neck where above that line the neck and head got greener. The girls green was more gradual.
