This is a guess since I'm new to chickens myself, but I saw this picture a few days ago and I'm seeing similar characteristics to yours. It's a buff brahma but yours doesn't have the feathered feet, is a bit smaller w/ a different comb.

Looks like he has a crest so might be some type of olive Egger

Is there a chance he could be mixed?
I am thinking a type of egger because of the white ear lobe, and crest, maybe mixed with a Buff Brahma or a New Hampshire Red.

There's definitely a chance. He came from a mixed bag. He was supposed to be a pullet when I bought him but he snuck by

He definitely looks the colours minus the comb and fluffy feet
