I'm raising a batch of "all heavies" from McMurrays as broilers. I could identify all the breeds I got except these two types:

These guys are significantly larger than all the other roos. They were large, light brown chicks when they arrived.

Looking for help with the white one on the left. They have gray legs and are all white, but their down was gray as chicks. (I know the one on the right is a Turken.)

I don't think those roosters are anything on the 'all heavies' list, but rather red ranger meat birds. I suppose they could be a meat strain of New Hampshires, too, but the white wings are not right for that breed.

Is the white chick also part of the 'all heavies' batch? If so, then most likely it is a white Jersey Giant.

To identify roosters look for pointed neck and saddle feathers. Also, roosters with have BIG feet and thick legs.

If you can't come up with what breed they are it's totally possible that you have some mixed breeds. I ordered from McMurray a couple years back and got three strange breeds of chickens. One was a rooster, so we sold it. One of the other two is the one in my profile picture. They both look like that, but one had grey legs and the other has yellow. The yellow legged hen started to lay blue eggs, confirming my suspicions that they couldn't be purebred. We never ordered blue eggers from the hatchery and they don't match any known blue egger breeds. The one with grey legs lays tiny tan eggs and she is extremely clever. It's just odd, I guess.

I don't trust McMurray anymore. The blue egger was a bonus, but we ordered 16 hens and instead got about 5 roosters in the group.

Wow, 5 roosters out of 16! That's awful. I totally hadn't considered that I might get some mixed breeds. Thank you for sharing your experience.

No problem! I'm happy to help. I bred my blue egger with a Polish and got an interesting result, and while I'm glad I got my blue egger I'm not happy with the 5 roosters.
