Breed? Need quick response.

Was told this is a pure Blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster. 5 months old... Not familiar with the breed. Just want to be sure before I go pick him up since I have been duped so many times before. I don't need show quality, but I'm not sure this is pure ameraucana. What's throwing me off is that it has a single comb, and she said he hatched out a green egg. If it was a pure ameraucana, wouldn't he have hatched out of a blue egg? I have a flock of EE's and Black Copper marans... was going to add him to my flock to hatch out some chicks a couple times a year. Was hoping for a barnyard mix of chicks that will lay different colored eggs.

He looks like an Easter egger. The legs are the wrong color for an ameraucana. They should be slate colored.

Well, I went get him anyway, but talked her down of the price for him. Here he is! Settling in nicely and crowing away this morning!

So, he does have a pea comb. And the pictures don't show the actual color of his legs. In natural light in person, they do look like a dark gray maybe slate color. Who knows...
