Breed of Chicken!

Hi there! I picked up some chicks from TSC and got some different breeds in with my mix.... you guys helped me with my last one. Hoping you can help here too! I'm guessing its a cockerel???? Does anyone know what breed it is?? It is about 4 weeks old. Thanks!

I believe it's a partridge Cochin cockeral.

Definitely a cockerel. As for breed, it resembles a Cochin but has the complete wrong color legs. It's also very "slim" in build, has very sparse leg/foot feathering and has a very upright tail.

I suppose it could be hatchery quality, but those are a lot of traits that shouldn't be there.

Looks like someone at the hatchery let a Cochin and some other breed have a one nighter together a generation or two back.

I don't know a lot about Marans, but I'm assuming French Black Copper.

Gray will confirm if that is correct.
