Breed questions and characteristics

Hello peeps
I am researching chicken breeds to add to my current flock, once I learn how to use my incubator. I do like the Orpington, and the Wyandotte. I am mostly looking at colour and temperament, I’m a cuddler. For those of you that have either breed, what are they really like?

I also love Plymouth Rocks and golden comets. Cochins, Orpingtons Wyandottes, Marans, and Ayam Cemanis are awesome, but the Cemanis will probably be hard to find. Good luck finding good breeds and have fun!

My Orpington loves to cuddle. As soon as I sit down, she runs over and jumps onto my lap for a pet. Her name is Love for a reason!

Raising them from chicks helps, as does spending lots of time with them.
