breed recommendations

I am looking for recommendations for a good laying breed. I am looking for a chicken that people would buy hatching eggs for. They need to have good egg laying capability, and also need to be fairly cold hardy.
Here are some breeds I have been thinking about:

• australorps
• orpingtons
• brahma
• plymouth rock

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

My one and only laying at the moment lays 3-4 a week. The others will be starting in the next few weeks.
