Hello,
I bought two khaki Campbell ducks at the beginning of this year, sadly one of my ducklings suddenly passed away. I want to get the remaining one some friends. Do they need to be Khaki Campbell of can they be a different breed?

As i understand it any ducky breed will be a good friend to your Khaki Campbell

Any mallard-derived breed will work, but it is better if the mature size of the new friends is similar to Campbells.

I ended up finding a place with Cambell's still avaliable, time to patiently await their arrival.. And to think I thought I was done with the baby phase haha :jumpy

Your 1 month old may accept them then again the size and age difference can also cause a problem with picking on the babies so you'll just have to watch and see how it goes. But your experienced with brooding now so hopefully things will go good. Please post pics and let us know when your new babes arrive.
