@Frazzemrat1 @annageckos Is there any breed of chicken with red ears that lays white eggs? I'm just curious

I can't think of one.... But I know there are a couple of breeds that have white ears and lay brown eggs. The Penedesenca for one.

@Frazzemrat1 Also Whitings have white ears and lay either blue or green eggs. But I can't think of any breed with red ears that lays white

Austrlorp and possibly Lavander Orpington, ONLY White EARED hens lay white eggs, is it possible the eggs are very light brown?

Silvia isn’t an Orpington. Wrong foot colour. Jersey Giants have yellow feet like her, but I’m not sure if she is one as I’ve no experience with the breed. Where did you get them from? She could be a hatchery/breeder hybrid if not pure. More pics of the black one too?

Depends on the TC, and where in the country it is. I think a lot of them source from Meyers.

That being the case, is it possible this is one of those sapphire gem crosses? I don't have any of them.

I thought if she isn’t pure she could be a hatchery or breeder hybrid. I searched Sapphire Gem and it does seem very possible. They’re blue sex links that lay brown, cream or blue eggs - apparently.
