I’m thinkin barred rock, what is this beautiful boy?

He's really dark for a barred rock, but aside from that he does look like it. He might be a mix.

I *think* he's single barred instead of double barred, so likely a mix of some kind, possibly a male sexlink.

He's and a Barred Rock and appears to be double barred like a proper Barred Rock. His barring is just better than many hatchery birds. Here's my Barred Rock Bantam for comparison of barring. He was a very decent quality bird.

Other then being a bantam, they look really identical.
