I purchased these 2 gals, Emmy & Lou, and can't remember what breed I was told they were - Faverelle? (sp?) Help, please. The golden head gal lays matte-colored bluish/white eggs with little dots on them. Lou, who has a marvelous topknot, lays the same color, however, egg has slight glaze. can't find Lou's pic - she's grayish with 2 patches on top of head - Thx

My guess based on comb and egg color is they are Easter Eggers.

They don't have feathered feet, do they? Faverolles have feathered feet, a straight comb, and lay light brown to pinkish colored eggs.

i don't think they're olive eggers. I have one of those. I've attached a picture. The golden one is getting her feathers back - when I got her owner said she was picked on. But look closely at Lu's head - very interesting - thnx

They’re Easter Eggers. Since EEs can be a huge variety of breeds, it’s common for them to look quite different. It looks like they both have beards, they’re just really picked out. They’ll grow back eventually. :)
