Got these ladies free but dont know what they are.

Do they have feathered legs? They might be Partridge Cochins (feathered legs), or Partridge Plymouth Rocks (non-feathered).

Hi
I have a young hen - i believe she is a Crevecoeur....she was sold to me as as a 3-day old chick-mottled Houdan (May 2014)- hatched at Ideal or Murray -McMurray Hatchery) purchased as sexed pullet from local feed store here in Eureka, CA USA

-however, she has blue-grey legs, four toes, black feathers with greenish tinge..no mottled feathers, as a chick she was predominately black with white rump.picture tells all...
photos ive seen of mottled Houdan chick are black/white-predom white fuzz with distinct pattern.
She has not laid yet...so i dont yet have an egg to compare.

What does her comb look like? A Crevecoeur has a divided V comb.
