breeder coop design

I want to build a SMALL breeder pen for 3 to 4 chickens with the run underneath but I want it to be light I also don't want to spend tons of money maybe 175 to 200 any plans or ideas.my coop will be for duccles and silkies and polish but they won't be in the coop at the same time.thanks in advance.

this is not my photo but its the best one i have . stick with 4'/4' ply wood siding takes
5 peaces 4'/8' cut in half should be around 20.00 each
8 1"/4"s 8' should be around 2.50 each
4 2"/4"s 8' . should be around 3.20 each
4'/16' 1/2" hardware wire /cloth don't know how much best guess around 2.00 ft
the pieces on the ground could be treated if it would be your preference.should be under 200. easily.
2 hinges one latch,nails, screws, paint,{ tar to paint roof,or tin or shingles 1/2 square }

or use 1bys to build the whole thing like these are

or you could build one 4 ft by 4 FT around 6 FT tall and put ply wood on three sides wire on one and a door I have one 6/6 that i use for day old's till they get bigger.

This is the "blueprint" we are using to build some breeding pens. Can easily be adjusted for the size you need when you build it yourself!

I build 4'X4'X4' OSB boxes (with a slanted roof), I put on pretty much either 4'X6' or 4'X8' runs, (2X4's as the base) which are about 5' tall. Then you can split down the center with chicken wire and have two pens for 2-5 standards or bantams.

All my pens are movable, I put wheels under the coop in the back. I can upload pictures sometime if you are interested.

My coops go from 80-150$ apiece on average. And remember, less is more. I have learned the hard way many times when building coops, use only what you need to keep the chickens safe, as if you over-use materials they become heavy and hard to move.
