I'm building seven 14x8 breeder pens with 4x8 roost and nesting boxes for rare breeds, all standard size. I'm hoping to have 5 hens and 1 roo in each does this sound right?

that is enough space. You might consider somewhere to put the cocks one day a week. If you put them somewhere else for 24-36 hours or so it gives everyone a break and we'll raise your fertility.
