Breeder recommendations for Runner Ducks

besides Holderread and any tips on which colors
or bloodlines are best in your opinion.
I prefer to buy from private breeders vs. hatcheries.
I'm going to try some this year after many years of wanting some.
Please advise on any pros and cons.

I have an old gander that was hatched from Golden Egg eggs, he's a very NICE white and, before the people who had him had to get rid of all their birds (moving) he wongrand champ waterfowl (juniors, but he did it four times in two years).

He is very upright. Never ordered directly from them but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

- you wanted a white runner drake from champion lines

my John would be perfect. I took him to a Poultry Swap last week bit nobody wanted him. People here seem to be giving up runner ducks because of the eagles in the neighbourhood.
