Breeders in the Livingston, Tx area?

I'm trying to find a mate for my ringneck dove. He showed up in the yard last year after being hit by a hawk and has lived at my house ever since. I tried giving him a pigeon companion, but that ended badly with her picking all the feathers out his back and me giving her back to the person I bought her from. I'd like to find him a mate if anyone knows of anyone near me who may have any. Thanks!

I got a lovely tangerine/cinnamon hen from him yesterday. She's got a white ring, which really makes her stand out. I'd forgotten I'd bought some Muscovies from him about two years ago, but I had lost his number since then.

I've got them both in the cage together, but now he's behaving kind of aggressive towards her, not being very welcoming, but not picking on her, really. I think it's because he's been on his own so long. She's having fun with his toys, though!

How long do you think it will take him to get accustomed to her?

A few days he might calm down. Just keep a close eye out for pecking don't want any of that.

I kept them separated a couple of days in cages next to each other. She's now in the cage with him, and he's not being food aggressive like before, but I think he's still not sure what to think about her. He keeps making little noises, almost like a squirrel call, and made that crazy laughing call earlier today, but I haven't seen any bowing as if he's really interested yet.
