FWIW, I found several posts on an older thread about My Pet Chicken using Meyer's as a drop ship. Not sure if that is still the case.

We are in southern Ohio and also looking to add color to our egg basket. Ameraucanas, Welsummers and Olive Eggers are what we are considering. We are looking for either started pullets or young hens because our work and commute schedule keeps us away from home all day making it difficult to monitor eggs and chicks. We would prefer to buy locally and pick up pullets in person to avoid the rigors of postal shipping. Thanks for the heads-up on Meyer's selling pullets-I missed that when we looked at their site- we'll have to check it out! We have also been looking at Chicken Scratch Poultry in Illinois. They have the breeds we want and will raise pullets to order, but are pricey compared to Meyer's and quite a hike to pick up in person.
