breeding age blue eared pheasants

Can someone tell me when is the breeding age of blue ears acording on most websites the second here in south they say from the 3rd year

I don t know what is the problem here in south africa the males here are fertile from their 3rd to 5th year maybe it is the climate or not the standard avairy requiredments
