I have 2 male ringnecks ( 1 suposed to be female ) and 1 female. Female is green, and the two males grey the other blue. My aviary is quite large and they get along OK. But it's getting near the breeding season ( JULY ? ) and I think about getting another female. Is this the best solution? If I get another female I'm going to make an extension to the existing aviary. This aviary also has grass, and soon a new growing tree. It also has 3 budgies. They get along fine, the budgies dont mind the parrots....

what do I do when the babies hatch? I want to handtame at least one and then sell the rest...
What do I feed the handtamed ones?

I have a friend who is a proffessional ringneck breeder, he gave me the female, and he will help out, but hes on holiday right now...

my father breed with ringnecks and the best is to get the pairs in separate aviaries alone they will fight and get your budgies out of their they will not harm them but kill them. I once put common quail with these birds everything was fine but when it come to breeding season I pick up dead quail meat torn out of their backs
