OK so mom told me today she wants babys hatched in march next year. Well heres the thing, i think i have 2 Jearsy Giant roos and i have buff cochin roo right now. So we want to keep a black roo and i dont want to get rid of the other one. I have Jearsys, NHR, cochins, BO, Silky, Mille flur, Leghorns, and EE! All are hens! So how do i get pure Jearsy Giants? Could i get the hens and then 1 roo and leave them together for a few days and all the eggs will be pure? And will hens brood together?

Thanks,

Chicken Girl

You'll need to have the JG hens seperated from the cochin roo for 3-4 weeks and then you should get pure JG chicks from their eggs.
