Why doesn't my bantams breed?

Does age mater?

They are Buff Brahmas.

What do you mean they are not breeding? Are your eggs not fertile or will your hens not sit for you?

My eggs are not being fertilized. They are not mating. I really want baby chicks.

I am a beginner so i don't understand you by saying what is your roo to hen ratio.
My pair is about 1 and a half years old.

Roo to hen ratio refers to how many roosters you have for every certain amount of hens. For example if you had 2 roosters for 6 hens you would have a 1:3 ratio.

Have you tried switching your male with a different rooster?

oh, I just have one rooster for Two hens.
And I just have one rooster that I own but thanks for your advice I will buy a young and better rooster. THANK U ALOT
