Breeding chickens?

I am doing a presentation for my 7th grade Middle School Project on chicken breeding and I was wondering if anyone could help me with my research. I need to know good research sites and anything anybody knows about breeding chickens. I also might be breeding some chickens next spring, so the info will be used in two places. Thanks!

How much of the research is allowed to be online? Keeping reports and presentations simple is the key. All you have to research is "Line Breeding". It's the preferred method for breeding all livestock. If you don't think that is enough material then include "Double Mating System". Breeds of birds with difference of appearance of male and females benefit from double mating, keeping a male and female line of birds.

I assume by breeding you mean keeping standard breeds of chickens to conform to their standard of perfection not breeding as in chicken reproductive cycle.
