Hey everyone!
So my roo has very surprisingly fertilised one of my hens. Surprising because he only hit puberty a couple of weeks ago, but I guess he's a natural
anyway..
I'm curious about what they would produce colourwise.
Roo is white, his parents were splash and mealy grey.
I'm unsure of the hens parents..
Hen 1 is his mum and she's splash and definitely has some lavender feathers
Hen 2 is redish? I'll attach a photo. She has produced black babes from an unknown roo.
Hen 3 is Wheaten she is very dirty in the photo so ignore the greying it's just oily dirt (long story).
ALSO is there a reason the splash has her tail feathers pinched? Is it just a defect of some sort? I got her like that and never really looked into it because it doesn't really bother me.
Just curious if there would be certain colours I'd be getting or if it's just going to be a surprise. Happy with either ofcoarse
