Breeding darth vader Chinese painted quail

Hi everyone. Hopefully some one can help me.
I have a pair of Chinese painted quail dearth vader mutation,
My hen is sat on 7 eggs and doing very well.
I was just wondering as I think I read, most boys are dark and most girls are light and brown,
So when they hatch, girls should be light and brown.
And boys should be dark
Is that right.???????

As they grow yes first few days they look very similar

Rumor going around that it's not a true Darth male unless it doesn't lose the white off the bib hope u post pics of ur babies I have some Darth grand babies hatching soon ish but the Darth is the grandpa on the moms's side moms in plural my first working sister wives trio going (one is the current profile pic)
