Breeding Ducks

I purchased two mallard ducks from tractor supply (they're captive hatched/raised) earlier this year. I understand they are not yet near adulthood, but would like to begin preparing for next year. How do you breed ducks? Basic information as well as some details would be great (enclosure, nesting, feeding material)!

They will take care of the breeding part on their own. I have found in Vt. that my ducks hardly use their shelter even through the winter but we do have a shelter where they can go when they want to plus it is where they lay there eggs.

Interesting, weather does not seem to bother them too much... Should I let the mother raise the babies all by herself? Or can I handle the babies to get them used to people? Will they be ready to breed as soon as winter is over?
