What kind of chicks will I get with the Easter Egger hens and copper maran roo?

Crossbreds that many refer to as 'Olive Eggers' - they may lay an olive drab egg.

Since Easter Eggers are not a standard breed, there is no way to know what you will get until you try it. Odds are good for some dark green egg layers, if the chicks inherit a pea comb.

Olive Eggers are produce by breeding a pure Ameraucana with a dark egg layer like Maran or Welsummer. There is no guarantee that you will get Olive Eggers if using an Easter Egger, or any colored egg layers at all.
