Breeding for egg color

Simple question. Can you breed for egg color? For example. If you removed any white eggs and left only colored ones to hatch...would future generations of ducks lay more and more colored eggs?

So technically I would have to completely ignore the color of the eggs that the ducks are laying, hatch a drake from a blue/green egg, then only breed egg layers from his line?
