Breeding hybrids

If I were to breed Golden Sex Links, would the offspring lay regularly? Or is it random?
I am not understanding this question.

If your question is if the offsprings of Two Production type sex likes(male and female) their egg production performance will be just like their parents.

If you question is if you breed golden sex link hens with a regular dual purpose rooster, then the offspring will lay the average of both parents peak + about 10% heterosis boost. so close to 280 eggs per year

Chicken 'hybrids' aren't actually hybrids, they are just mixed breeds.
like nicalandia said, are you breeding two high production crosses, a high production to a standard breed or trying to breed your own sex links?

Their parents are sex links, I was wondering if they would produce eggs as much as their mother. I've been told breeding hybrid chickens breeds something different from the original hybrid.

They will have not problem reaching the same egg laying performance as both lines(the Silver and Gold based) are as productive as each other(about 320 eggs per year in the best case scenario)

I'm a big chicken rookie so sorry if I sound extremely dumb but.

Let's say, if I breed a silkie and a naked neck rooster, what are their offsprings gonna be? Just curious, this question may not have an answer xxx
