It depends in my opinion. My few offspring from my sex links produce 6 out of 7 days compared to their moms and then I have a couple that are 3 out of 7 days. But it's fun to see what happens. If I were to breed Golden Sex Links, would the offspring lay regularly? Or is it random?
I am not understanding this question. If I were to breed Golden Sex Links, would the offspring lay regularly? Or is it random?
Their parents are sex links, I was wondering if they would produce eggs as much as their mother. I've been told breeding hybrid chickens breeds something different from the original hybrid.Chicken 'hybrids' aren't actually hybrids, they are just mixed breeds.
like nicalandia said, are you breeding two high production crosses, a high production to a standard breed or trying to breed your own sex links?
They will have not problem reaching the same egg laying performance as both lines(the Silver and Gold based) are as productive as each other(about 320 eggs per year in the best case scenario)Their parents are sex links, I was wondering if they would produce eggs as much as their mother. I've been told breeding hybrid chickens breeds something different from the original hybrid.
That will depend if the naked neck has a bowtie or clean neckI'm a big chicken rookie so sorry if I sound extremely dumb but.
Let's say, if I breed a silkie and a naked neck rooster, what are their offsprings gonna be? Just curious, this question may not have an answer xxx
