I want to breed chickens that have no feathers and I was wondering if there are any laws or rules I should know about before I start breeding for specific characteristics? The last thing I want is to get in trouble for some form of animal abuse.

! Great to have you here! I have no idea of the legal/ethical ramifications of such a project and I'm not even sure who you would ask. Sorry! Maybe try the Breeding forum below?? Good luck to you!

. Is there a particular reason you want to breed for that? There's a reason why birds have feathers. Breeding that out of them will take years if not decades. It will also leave you with very weak adult fowl and chicks. A rooster breeding a featherless hen could puncture the skin and possibly puncture a organ. I personally think you would be opening Pandora's box with this one.
