My Muscovy's are usually 8-9 months old before they start to lay and pretty close to 10-12 months before they go broody. I have had Muscovy's since 2004 and find they mature slower than other breeds but that is okay with me. The are great broodies and mothers it just takes tem a bit of time to get started.
