breeding pens

what do your guys breeding pens look like i want to make one for my ameraucanas instead of breeding them in there huge pen

Mine is 8' by 6' or something like that. Divided into three pens. Each pen is 2.3 feet wide and 6 feet long. I keep brahmas in mine. I can get pictures later.

I have breeding pens and I made the mistake by not making them as tall as I am (5'7"). That was the worst mistake of my building of the pens. I HATE to keep ducking down to get in and ducking down to get out. I will never do that again.

Well I guess it all depends on how you design them. If you make them rather large as far as sq ft is concerned I'd make them tall enough for you to stand. How tall you make them also depends on if you want perches too.
