Breeding question

So i am new to the duck world and have a question about breeding. I have a campell drake and a new duck(breed unknow) Will different breeds mate with other breeds?
And if they do, what kind of ducks will it be?

Like in my head i have the puppy theroy and my DH is laughing at me!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't have ducks, so i'm not sure, but some good books with breeding included are Storey's guide to raising ducks, barnyard in your backyard, and storey's guide to raising poultry

Yes, most duck species will interbreed. The resulting ofspring will just be mixed, mutt ducks. The exception may be Wild type ducks such as wood ducks and Mandarins. They will not likely interbreed with domestic ducks.
