Breeding Questions

I have a flock of a mix of Black sex-links, one being a rooster, Rhode Island Reds and Barred Rocks. This may seem like a dumb question to some, but i thought i would ask. Would the chicks look different if i breed the black sex-link rooster with one of the Barred Rock hens? I know that the Black sex-links, are sex-links because they are bred with Rhode island reds, so that would not count. But i was wondering what the chicks of a Black sex-link and a Barred Rock would look like.

Bsl rooster over barred rock hen will give you

25% solid female chicks. They'll look like a black sex link hen
25% barred pullet chicks. They'll look like momma
25% single barred roosters. They'll look pretty much like the father
25% double barred roosters. They'll be lighter in color and look like a pure barred Rock rooster, more or less.

Bsl rooster over RIR hen

25% barred females, possibly with red leakage
25% non-barred females, probably black with more red leakage
25% single barred males with lots of red leakage
25% non-barred males, probably black with lots of red leakage.

Yep. I cant believe i thought Rhode Island Red meant Rest In Roast......

I have had chickens for five years, and Rhode Island Reds for at least four. But I thought she was talking about eating him if he was a rooster, so i thought it made sense. Ugg!!!! (Hit self on the head.)
