Breeding Season 2013

Anyone have any "wildfowl" laying / on eggs yet?
I have 1 Honker that just set. Other than that not much happening.

We have had one wooduck lay an egg and 2 northern pintails lay eggs but no one sat on them so we had to take them. This weather in Virginia is messing them all up!

we have not had any i am suprised cause i usally do we have not had good whether in south east ga eather its got all of them mesed up

Setting Red crested pochard, manderins reg and white.Mallard hens are setting on some " mystery" eggs Laying fulvous ,red heads, canvasback and black bellied. heavy in the bottom ring teal canvasback silver woodduck. Weather does have mine laying late.. Gonna freeze or be near freezing tonight.Hope not cause If it freezes Ill lose the already layed ones.

Wow, would not think it would be freezing in Florida this late in the year. Sounds like you are off to a good start though. Mallards just started here, nothing else yet except the Honker from my first post.
