breeding silkies and cochins

I have i nice lookng (in my opinion) bantam black frizzle cochin hen but i am not sure what quality she is. If i breed her to a splash bantam cochin roo from a breeder will the offspring be breeder quality? And i also have a splash silkie pullet that is from a hatchery. She has a crest beard blue legs/feet five toes nice feathered feet. If i breed her to a breeder quality black sillkie roo will there offspring be breeder quality?

not necessarily, You can breed two birds with correct toes and get one with 4 or six toes. All of my breeders have correct toes but I had one in the last batch that had good toes on one foot but was missing the toe nail on the fifth toe. You will improve on your hens with good roos but not everything hatched will be the same quality. Most breeders out of 100 chicks will have 5-10 SQ birds hatch.
