I'm a young breeder (14) and I'm interseted in breeding Partridge Silkies. There are no breeders in my area. I have a Partridge wyandotte rooster and a white silkie hen. I have read a few pages on the subject, but it doesnt make sence to me. Could anyone help me??????

Are you asking about breeding the dotte with the silkie? If so you really won't get the effect you want. They are VERY different in coloring, and that doesn't even start the feather issue. You will need YEARS of select breeding to get the silkie feathering back in. You would save TONS of cash by just buying Partridge silkies. Consider how much it would cost to feed those crossbreds for a few years ( 5 to 10 at least) compaired to the coast of a Partridge silkie pair, and you see the the difference in time & money.
