what is the best book for breeding to the SOP? i really want to be a quaility breeder! Thanks!

Well first you need the SOP especially the first 30 pages .
second, join the club for your breed and read all the information on their website.
third, buy the classic book for your breed written by a breeder .
fourth , "the genetics of chicken extremes", by Sigrid van Dort . This book covers genetics of everything but plumage.

I also recommend her book ,"The genetics of chicken colours, the basics". The back of the easy to read book is an atlas of pictorial chicken colours captioned by their names and genetic formulas.
Listen to those who have already achieved in your breed ,not a bunch of novices.
