breeding turkeys need advice

I need advice so I have had a tom and I just bought a hen they are around the same age and I want to breed them, is there a possible way to speed up the process?

Breeding season is over pretty much and wont start again until spring. Your hen also most likely wont lay eggs until spring either. Turkeys are seasonal breeders/layers meaning roughly spring- fall.

How old are your turkeys and what variety did you get?

If the birds are mature they will start to breed in the spring. Breeding is mostly turned on by day length, but extreme weather can postpone things a bit. If the weather is good, you might be able to get a jump on things if you give them some extra light in the mornings or evenings.

They are 5 and 6 months the hen is a royal palm and the tom is a naragansant.
