Are French guineas hybrids and if so are they sterile? I have heard they get too big to breed. Could a regular guinea male fertilize a french female? What are jumbos and can they breed?

The Jumbos are supposed to mate naturally. I am not sure about the French, but I think a standard male could breed them.

The jumbos can mate naturally and they are just a bigger version of the pearls that way about 5-7 pounds though. The French Guineas can NOT mate naturally; they have to be artificially inseminated. I have no idea if a regular male could mate with a jumbo female. I don't see why anybody would want to but that is a good question
