so i have a mallard duckling at 10 days old. he has developed a niacin deficiency i think. He hasent been injured and it just suddenly happened. He is on purina start and grow. Anyway my question is how much Brewers yeast do i need to give for such a young duckling . Or is brewers yeast even a good product to use?

Yes, definitely give brewers yeast. It's one tablespoon per cup of food. What's going on with the baby?

Quote: he just wont walk properly on his foor like its dead waut or something. Occasionally he'll try to move it but he hasent been hurt there has been no way for him to get hurt. so its not that i think its niacin, i hear it happens alot in ducklings but this is the first time its happened to me in my 12 years of raising and hatching babies. so i think i might have to do the brewers yeast for him and then im gonna let him swim to help strengthen his legs.
